Fees and Payments

We accept bank drafts and etransfers. 

Our fees vary based on your specific transaction. We have a service fee model. Our legal fee excludes third-party disbursements. Third-party disbursements are costs that we incur to complete your transaction.

We can only offer an estimate for disbursements as we will not know the exact cost until after we incur them. The disbursements will vary based on your property type, property value, property use, down payment amount, etc. For an estimate for legal fees and disbursements please contact our office.  

Typical disbursements for real estate purchase and sales, mortgage refinance, family transfers typically include, but are not limited to: 

  • Title search
  • Tax search 
  • Title insurance 
  • Mortgage document requests
  • Insurance binder 
  • Land Title registration 
  • State of Title Certificate 
  • LOTA registration
  • Property Transfer Tax
  • GST
  • Strata document request 
  • Strata fees such as move-in fee, strata fees, etc
  • Printing 
  • File opening and storage fee
  • Software fee
  • Trust Administration fee.
